Travel via Transfers: When transferred to programs like Aeroplan or British Airways Executive Club, points can be worth 1.5 to 2 cents per point or more.
Fixed Points Travel: Using the Amex Fixed Points chart, value can range from 1.75 to 2 cents per point depending on the route.
Statement Credits: Redeemed for statement credits at 1 cent per point.

3. Maximizing Membership Rewards® Points Value
Transfer to Travel Partners: Transferring to frequent flyer programs like Aeroplan or British Airways often maximizes the value per point.
Amex Fixed Points Travel: Use the fixed points chart for flights where the value can be higher than statement credits.
Book Travel with Points: Booking travel directly with points at 1 cent per point can be convenient if you don't get a better rate from transfers.
Strategic Spending: Focus spending on categories where you earn the most points to accumulate points faster for high-value redemptions.
Avoid Low-Value Redemptions: Merchandise and Amazon purchases should be the last resort due to lower point valuation.
4. Earning Membership Rewards® Points with the American Express® Cobalt Card
