About Tim Hortons When the first Tim Hortons opened in Hamilton, Ontario in 1964 there were only two items on the menu: coffee and doughnuts. A lot has changed over the past five decades, and aside from coffee, tea and hot chocolate, Tim Hortons now serves specialty coffees like cappuccinos, lattes and iced coffees. In 1996, a variety of bagel flavours became a standard menu item, and beyond the delicious donuts, an expanded menu of soups, sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches and lunch items have popped up along with each new location. Over the 1990s and 2000s, a rapid expansion meant more doughnuts were served in Canada than any other country in the world, and in 1991, the 500th Tim Hortons opened in Aylmer, Quebec, followed swiftly by the 1000th in Ancaster, Ontario. As one of the most recognizable brands in Canada, Tim Hortons remains famous for its baked goods and coffee, including the beloved Double Double, which in 2004 officially made it into the Canadian Oxford English dictionary.

Tim Hortons® eGift Card Details This Tim Hortons eGift Card is only redeemable in Canada and has no fees or expiry date. It can be redeemed at participating Canadian locations of Tim Hortons in Canada, either by presenting it in-person or by loading it to your Tim Hortons App.

Redeem a Tim Hortons® eGift Card This eGift Card is redeemable for food and beverages at participating Tim Hortons locations in Canada. It can be used in-store by showing it to the cashier for scanning, then each time you use this eGift, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the remaining balance until it reaches zero, with any excess purchase price still payable using another method of payment at the time of purchase. You can also use this card by adding the entire value of the eGift to your Tim Hortons App.

In-Store Redemption To redeem this eGift Card in-store, print it out at home first, or display it on your smartphone, then show it to the cashier when paying for your purchases. Make sure the card's barcode, card number and PIN code (if required) are clearly visible, so that the cashier can scan the barcode or enter the card number.
